Kimberly Holt
Kimberly is Co-Founder and President of the Tendon Research Foundation. With a background in biology and linguistics Kimberly has a long history of community engagement alongside raising four children. She has taught High School French and Financial Literacy and volunteered with the Girl Scouts of the USA and Boy Scouts of America. She has worked with the US Census and the Durham County Board of Elections.
Jonathon Holt PhD DABT
Dr. Holt is a Co-Founder of, and Scientific Advisor to, the Tendon Research Foundation. A PhD research scientist and Board Certified Toxicologist, he brings 25 years of experience in biotech and mid-sized company research and development spanning a wide array of therapeutic indications and drug delivery formats.
Dr. Holt has 8 years experience in non-profit drug development and research including fund-raising and product development leadership.
Holden Janssens PhD
Dr. Janssens has a PhD in neuroscience from University of Illinois, Chicago and a BSc from the University of Michigan. She joins the Foundation as a board member with over 15 years experience in contract and pharmaceutical research with a focus in models of therapeutic efficacy.
Dr Janssens also brings over 10 years of operational leadership to the team having served as Scientist and Associate Director of the in vivo team at Brains On-Line and Director of in vivo Pharmacology at Charles River Laboratories.
Andrew Hencke
Mr Hencke is an independent board member with a deep commitment to philanthropy, non profits and developing scientific technology solutions to better society. He has leadership experience in community organizations such as Boy Scouts of America and Board Chair of his church. His 30 years of professional experience in Networking Technology, give him broad perspective on transformative initiatives, building high quality teams, producing data driven insights, and making complex concepts easy to understand. In his free time, you can look for him racing sailboats, cycling on road or single track with his wife, or rock climbing.
Jeffrey Gordon
Mr. Gordon is an independent board member with 34 years of experience within the workers' compensation industry. He has an extensive background in team leadership, operations and managing occupational injuries. His direct experience managing workers' compensation claims and teams, with a focus toward an injured employee's successful return to work, is a direct benefit to the board from a different vantage point. He has worked for major insurance carriers and in Risk Management partnership with many Fortune 500 companies.
